Product Liability coverage is offered, including individual GL, for manufacturers and/or distributors of a wide range of products.
Claims made product liability coverage is appropriate for products that are relatively young in the sale cycle. In these cases, insureds prefer claims made because it is more economical.
Target risks include new companies and products, particulartly those that are medical, industrial and agricultural in nature. Discontinued products and run-off converage can be considered. Alternative medical trends continue to present good product liability opportunities, including a broad array of remedies, nutritional supplements and homeopathic items.
